Sweden Autumn 2027 Intake: Dates, Documents and Application Timeline

UniversityAdmissions.se has confirmed the official application calendar for the Autumn 2027 intake, updated on the portal on 31 August 2026.

The first admissions round for international applicants — the round relevant to Pakistani students — opens on 16 October 2026.

Applicants must submit their application and rank their chosen programmes by 15 January 2027.

The application fee (where applicable) and all supporting documents are due by 1 February 2027.

Admission results for master’s programmes are expected to be published by 1 April 2027.

Pakistani students who require a Swedish residence permit should apply through this first round. The second round, which opens later, is not practical for non-EU/EEA applicants, since there is generally not enough time to receive a residence permit before the semester begins.

Applicants should have their degree certificates, transcripts, passport copy and English-test results ready, along with a shortlist of programmes, before the portal opens.

Meeting the application deadline does not guarantee admission or a residence permit — applicants must still meet each programme’s academic requirements and the Swedish Migration Agency’s permit conditions.
